High School Football Practice Starts

High School football practice began in the St. Cloud area Monday.  Sartell-St. Stephen has a new head coach, Scott Hentges, Justin Skalerud returns as the Apollo head coach, Gregg Martig is back at Tech, Dean Taylor returns at Cathedral, and Bill Magnuson is back at Sauk Rapids-Rice.  Mike Rowe is back as Rocori begins defense of the Class 4A title.

The first games of the season will be played Friday August 31.  The schedule looks like this; Apollo at Sartell-St. Stephen, Rocori at Brainerd, Tech at Alexandria, Fergus Falls at Sauk Rapids-Rice, and Cathedral plays at Holdingford.
