The Rox had 4 pitchers combine on a 3-hit shutout to lead the Rox past the Mankato Moon Dogs at Joe Faber Field Wednesday night. The game was scoreless until the 5th inning when the Rox scored 2 runs. St. Cloud added 2 runs in the 7th inning and 3 more in the 8th.
Rochester Honkers Cancelling 7 Games
The Rochester Honkers are cancelling 7 games due to a new player testing positive at an initial screening. The St. Cloud Rox games scheduled for Rochester Sunday and Monday are among the cancellations. The Rox will play Mankato Monday at 7:05 to replace one of the missed Rochester games.
Twins To Open Season July 24 at Chicago
Major League Baseball released their 2020 adjusted 60-game schedule Monday. The Twins will open the season Friday July 24 at Chicago against the White Sox starting a 3-game series. The Twins will play their home opener Tuesday July 28th against the St. Louis Cardinals at Target Field at 7:10 p.m.

It took 11 innings, but the St. Cloud Rox defeated the Rochester Honkers 7-6 in their home opener Thursday night at Joe Faber Field. Andrew Pintar knocked in the game winning run with a single and notched St. Cloud their first win of the 2020 season.
