Twins Place Nelson Cruz on IL
The Twins have placed designated hitter Nelson Cruz on the 10-day Injured list with a left wrist sprain and have recalled infielder Luis Arraez. The 39-year old Cruz is hitting .270 with 7 home runs in 144 plate appearances as a Twin this season.
SCTCC Baseball Recap
The Cyclones defeated the Cardinals Thursday as they collected fifteen hits including three extra base hits to give their pitchers a great deal of support. Joselito Baez Jr a right handed freshman started on the mound, he threw eight innings to earn the win.

The St. Cloud State baseball team lost 4-3 in Warrensburg, Missouri Thursday night in the NCAA Division II Central Regional to Central Oklahoma. The Huskies fall to 40-13 and will play an elimination game against Missouri Southern State in Warrensburg, Missouri at 3:30 p.m. today.
Twins Out-Score Mariners 11-6
The Twins won 11-6 at Seattle last night to take the first game of the 4-game series. Minnesota got solo home runs from Max Kepler and Jason Castro, a 2-run home run from C.J Cron and a 3-run home run from Byron Buxton. Cron finished with 4 hits.

Rox Add 4 to 2019 Roster Including Cold Spring Native
