STMA Ends the Tech Football Season

The Tech football season came to an end this afternoon with a 31-7 loss to St. Michael-Albertville in the Section 6-5-A semifinals.

Tech entered the game unbeaten at 9-0.  The only Tech touchdown was scored in the 2nd quarter when Chris Backes connected with Brevyn Spann-Ford on a 41-yard touchdown pass.

Backes threw for 130 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions, Spann-Ford had 5 catches for 84 yards and a touchdown and Scott Kippley ran for 40 yards for the Tigers.

Tech's season ends with a record of 9-1.  STMA advances to the section 6-5-A Finals against top ranked Elk River.
