Rocori Advances To Prep Bowl With Win Over Winona

The Rocori Spartans took down Winona 48-24 Friday night in the Class AAAA State Football Tournament semifinals at US Bank Stadium. Rocori is now 10-2 overall this season.

Jack Steil led the Rocori offense with 20 carries for 169 yards and five touchdowns, while also completing 8/12 passes for 135 yards. Brady Linn added 14 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns for Rocori.

Defensively, the Spartans earned five takeaways, led by Tucker Haakonson's three interceptions.

The Spartans will take on SMB November 29th for a state championship at US Bank Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4 pm, with coverage on WJON.
