The Rocori Spartans topped Detroit Lakes 14-6 Friday night in Alexandria to capture the Section 8AAAA title. The game was heard on AM 1240 and FM 95.3, WJON.

The Spartans will take on Delano Friday night at St. Cloud State University in the state tournament quarterfinals. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on WJON.
