NBA Playoffs; Celtics Beat Hawks

The Boston Celtics played without point guard Rajon Rondo but still beat Atlanta 87-80 to even the best of 7 first round playoff series Tuesday night.  Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 36 points.

Philadelphia beat Chicago 109-92 in Game 2 of their first round playoff series to even that series at 1 game apiece.  Chicago played without point guard Derrick Rose.  Rose if out for the season with a torn ACL.

The L.A. Lakers got 38 points from Kobe Bryant and beat Denver 104-100 Tuesday night to take a 2 games to none series lead.
