The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Utah Jazz 112-102 Monday night in Salt Lake City. The loss snapped a two-game losing skid for the Wolves, who improve to 8-6 with the win.

Karl-Anthony Towns was his usual dominant self for Minnesota, putting up 29 points (including seven three-pointers), 13 rebounds and five assists.

Playing without Andrew Wiggins for a third straight game, the Wolves relied on rookie Kelan Martin for 24 minutes of play. Martin responded with 14 points on 6-7 shooting and six rebounds while charting a +21 rating.

The Wolves will host the Jazz for a rematch Wednesday night at Target Center. The game can be heard on WJON.
