Summer Is Almost Gone.. What’s Left On Your St. Cloud Bucket List?
The Benton County Fair has come and gone and the Vikings play their first preseason game on Saturday, which means that summer is nearly over in Central Minnesota. How many of these summer essentials have you been able to cross off your summer bucket list?
1. ATTENDED SUMMERTIME BY GEORGE
If you haven't attended one of these weekly events this summer, you only have two more chances to make it! John King is scheduled to headline August 7th and the Fabulous Armadillos on August 14th.
2. TOOK A DIP IN A QUARRY
Did you make it to the Quarries this summer for a refreshing dip? If not, it looks like temps should be in the 80's this weekend and early next week.
3. ATTENDED A CONCERT AT THE LEDGE
The fourth summer of The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park was stocked with local and national acts. Did you catch any of them?
If not, there are still several shows on tap this summer/fall. YES Epics and Classics with Jon Anderson will play on August 7th, Stray Cats on August 9th, Dwight Yoakum on August 10th, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on September 12th and Crowded House on September 14th.
4. ATE ON A PATIO
Have you had a chance to sit outside on a beautiful summer night and eat a meal? The clock is ticking!
5. PLAYED MINI GOLF AT SUMMERLAND
We all love to hit the links and at Summerland you have two courses to choose from! Discount mini golf and go-kart rides are available at TheValueConnection.com.
6. ATTENDED A ST CLOUD ROX GAME
If you didn't cross this one off of your list yet, it's not too late! The regular season ends on August 10th.
The Rox have home games on Wednesday, August 7th, Friday, August 9th and Saturday, August 10th.
7. WALKED THROUGH MUNSINGER/CLEMENS GARDENS
This is one that I shockingly haven't done yet!
The official end of summer isn't until September 22nd, so there is still time to check some of these items off of your list for 2024!
