The St. Cloud State University women's basketball team earned their second win of the MSU-Moorhead Tournament on Saturday.

SCSU played a solid game, outscoring MSU-Denver in all four quarters. They kicked out to an early 18-13 lead in the first quarter. By halftime, the Huskies had extended that lead to 30-21.

Hot-shooting continued for St. Cloud State in the second half, adding 19 points in the third quarter and 18 in the fourth. The Huskies swiftly handled the Roadrunners, giving them the 67-44 win.

Katrina Theis and Kelsey Peschel led the team in scoring with 13 points each. Tori Wortz added 12, and Brehna Evans and Nikki Kilboten each finished with nine.

The Huskies improve to 3-0 and will head to Marquette to face Northern Michigan University on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
