St. Cloud State's Jack Peart has signed a 3-year entry level contract with the Minnesota Wild. The defenseman skated in 38 games for SCSU this season totaling 14 points with 3 goals and 11 assists.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team defeated Western Michigan 5-1 Sunday night in St. Cloud in the deciding Game 3 of their NCHC Quarterfinal best of 3 playoff series. The Huskies won 5-2 Friday night, lost 6-1 Saturday before winning Sunday night.

The St. Cloud State women's hockey team tied 2nd ranked Minnesota 1-1 Tuesday in St. Cloud. Minnesota took a 1-nothing lead in the 1st period before SCSU tied the game at 1 in the 2nd with a goal by Addi Scribner.

A pair of St. Cloud State men's hockey games will appear on CBS Sports Network. The first game will be against Denver January 12 at Magness Arena in Denver at 8 p.m. CT. The 2nd will be a home game at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center against Western Michigan on February 23 with a 7 p.m. start.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team held their red/black scrimmage Sunday at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The Huskies will host St. Thomas in their season opener Saturday October 7th at 6 p.m. SCSU will play at St. Thomas at 4 p.m. Sunday October 8.

The Huskies opened up their NSIC play with a big win over the Mustangs of Southwest Minnesota State. This was after both teams searched for some green grass to play on. They found that in Elkhorn, Nebraska.

After sweeping Denver over the weekend, the St. Cloud State Men's Hockey team is now ranked number 1 in the Nation.
