Johnnie Football Suffers First Loss In Overtime
The St. John's football team lost 19-18 at home against Concordia-Moorhead Saturday. The Johnnies were outscored 7-6 in overtime. Henry Trost scored his 2nd of 2 touchdowns in overtime but the extra point was blocked. Concordia got a 24-yard touchdown pass in overtime from Blake Kragness to Matt Bye and Alexander Diaz' extra point was good to win the game.
Jackson Erdmann threw for 356 yards and 1 touchdown with 4 interceptions for the Johnnies. His top receiver was Ravi Alston. Alston had 4 catches for 112 yards. Jack Kemper had 3 catches for 85 yards and a touchdown. Henry Trost ran for 110 yards and a score for the Johnnies.
St. John's drops to 7-1 and will play at Hamline Saturday November 9 at 1pm.
