High School Football Playoff Scores And Schedule

The Rocori Spartans topped Little Falls 33-7 Tuesday night in Cold Spring in the Section 8AAAA playoffs. The Spartans were led by sophomore running back Matt Koshiol, who rushed for over 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Spartans will play at Detroit Lakes Saturday night in the section semifinals. The other half of the bracket sees Willmar play at Fergus Falls on Saturday.

In Section 6AAAAA, the Tech Tigers steamrolled the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm 47-0 to improve to 9-0 on the season. The Storm end their first season under head coach Phillip Klaphake with a 2-7 record.

The Tigers will play at St. Michael-Albertville on Saturday night at 7 p.m. If Tech wins, they would play the winner of Monticello and Elk River.

The Brainerd Warriors held off the Apollo Eagles 48-35 Tuesday night in Brainerd. The Eagles' season ends with a 1-8 record. The Warriors will take on Sartell on Saturday, and that game can be heard on AM 1240 WJON.

The winner of Sartell/Brainerd will play against the winner of Moorhead and Alexandria on Friday, November 4th.

In Section 5AAA, the Cathedral Crusaders beat Foley 20-19 to advance to the section semis. The Crusaders will play at Pierz Saturday, with the winner of that game advancing to take on the winner of Pine City and Mora.
