Wolves Coach Adelman Steps Down

Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman announced his retirement Monday morning after three seasons behind the Wolves' bench.

Adelman finished his first season with the Timberwolves with a 26-40 record, then went 31-51 in 2012-13. This season, Minnesota finished at 40-42 and failed to make the playoffs for a tenth straight season.

In 25 seasons coaching at the NBA level Adelman won over 1,000 games.
