What I Watched Thursday: Super Bowl LII Eagles vs Patriots
With sports on an indefinite hiatus, I have taken to YouTube to check out one game every day. Yesterday, I watched Super Bowl LLII between the Eagles and Patriots at US Bank Stadium.
I was lucky enough to attend this game in person. It was a whirlwind of security, massive crowds, pyrotechnics and a Justin Timberlake halftime show. Needless to say, I didn't remember a ton about the game itself. .
On the re-watch, I was able to see how many chances the Patriots blew on their way to a loss. Tom Brady was nursing an injured finger which seemed to affect his accuracy, and wide receiver Brandin Cooks left the game early with a head injury which didn't help Brady's cause.
The second half was an all-time classic, with the two teams trading haymakers leading up to an exciting finish.
