River Bats Hire Bruce Thompson

The St. Cloud River Bats have hired former St. Cloud State baseball player Bruce Thompson as the teams' Director of Sales, according to Managing Partner Joel Sutherland.

Thompson is a 2009 graduate of St. Cloud State who has been serving as Senior Account Executive for the Minnesota Swarm of the National La Crosse League since 2009.  Thompson has also served as freshman baseball coach at St. Cloud Apollo and B Bantam head coach for the St. Cloud Youth Hockey association.

Thompson replaces Wes Sharp who held a similar position for the River Bats.

The Bats are also expected to reveal new-look uniforms, and a variety of ticket packages.
