Former Eagle Lariah Washington Named OVC Freshman Of The Year

Former Apollo girls basketball standout Lariah Washington was named the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year after a strong season with Eastern Illinois.

Washington averaged 11.3 points per game on 46.8% shooting while averaging five rebounds per game. She was also named All-OVC First Team this season.

The Panthers are currently 18-11 on the season.
