Cathedral Goes For Back-to-Back Championships!

This afternoon on The Fan - the St. Cloud Cathedral baseball team will go for back-to-back state championships - as they take on the Fire, from Holy Family Catholic.

The Crusaders have come up clutch in the post season.  They have gotten great pitching when they have needed it, and have come up with some very timely hits.

Cathedral faced two elimination games against Albany.  After easily winning the first game, they fell behind 4-0 in game 2.  But the resilient Crusaders came back to win, 7-4.  Last Friday, in the semi-final game against Proctor, they immediately found themselves behind 3-0 after the first inning.  But the Crusaders came back to take the lead in extra innings, and hold off the pesky Rails, 9-8, to advance to the championship game.

It should be a fantastic game - and you can hear all the action on The Fan.
