I began my professional radio career working nights at KDMA in Montevideo. Then, after a 10 year stint in Redwood Falls working at KLGR, I moved to St. Cloud. I’ve been working here at WJON since 2005, and have been the news director since 2007. The main beats that I cover include: politics, education, and local government. NWS: Highs In the Teens Early Next Week
There are no signs of above-normal temperatures for the foreseeable future. Normal highs this time of year are in the 40's, but with the exception of Saturday, the forecast calls for highs 10 to 15 degrees colder than that.
Record Rain in St. Cloud on Monday
We had record rainfall in St. Cloud Monday. Officially at the St. Cloud Regional Airport, we had 1.32 inches, that breaks the old record of .83 inches that fell on that date in 2009.
Rainy, Windy Weather Expected Monday and Tuesday
Widespread heavy rainfall is expected area-wide Monday and Tuesday. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected.
Huskies Climbing in National Volleyball Rankings
