Souhan; Timberwolves Might Be a Playoff Contender [PODCAST]

The Timberwolves are off to a 7-4 start and they are winning with incredible play from Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns.  Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today.  He says the All Star type play from Wiggins and Towns may turn a upper 30s win team into a 40 wins team that could make the playoffs.  Listen below.

The Vikings are likely to play without receiver Adam Thielen and nose tackle Linval Joseph Sunday and Trae Waynes may also be out.  Jim still thinks the Vikings can beat the Broncos.

Gopher basketball officially received commitments from 4-star recruits Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Martice Mitchell.  Jim doesn't expect 5-star recruit Dawson Garcia to choose Minnesota over Indiana, Marquette or Memphis.
