SCSU Sports Weekend Recap

Soccer: The Huskies opened their weekend with a 1-0 loss at Southwest Minnesota State Saturday. Danica Caudillo scored at the 81:23 mark for the Mustangs to provide the difference. Brittany Plombon had 8 saves for SCSU in the loss.

St. Cloud and Sioux Falls played to a tie on Sunday in South Dakota. The Huskies outshot the Panthers 8-6 in the stalemate.

Volleyball: The Huskies suffered a pair of straight-set defeats over the weekend. SCSU fell 3-0 at Mankato on Friday and by the same margin at Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday.

The Huskies are now 8-5 (2-3) on the season and will host Winona State Friday night.

Cross Country: SCSU finished 37th at the Roy Griak Invitational. Tom Mountain led the Huskies with a time of 27:55 (161st place).

Women's Golf: SCSU topped St. Ben's 316-341 Friday at St. Cloud Country Club. Katie Kruchten led the Huskies with a score of 74.
