Gopher Men’s Basketball Wins Exhibition Game

The Gopher men's basketball team defeated Southwest Baptist 86-59 Monday night to finish 2-0 in exhibition games.  Joe Coleman led 4 players in double figures with 15 points, Rodney Williams added 13 and Andre Hollins added 12 points.  Trevor Mbakwe played 11 minutes and scored 3 points for Minnesota.

The Gophers shot 52 percent from the field while Southwest Baptist shot 34 percent.  Minnesota will host American in their regular season opener at 7pm Friday, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:30
