Gopher Football to Play in Quick Lane Bowl

The 5-7 Gopher football team has accepted a bid to play in the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit at Ford Field Monday December 28 at 4pm (Central Time) against Central Michigan.  Central Michigan is 7-5.

This will be Minnesota's first appearance in the Quick Lane Bowl and 4th straight season appearing in a bowl game.  The last Gopher bowl win came against Alabama 11 years ago in the Music City Bowl.
