The Vikings sputtered their way to a 20-3 loss to the 49ers in San Francisco late Monday night. Minnesota was 1-9 on third down on their way to managing just 248 yards of total offense.

Adrian Peterson was underwhelming in his first action since week one of 2014, totaling just 31 yards on ten carries. Teddy Bridgewater looked uncharacteristically shaky as well, leading one long drive late in the third quarter but finishing 23/32 for 231 yards and an interception.

The Vikings defense allowed 395 yards to the Niner offense, including 168 yards and two touchdowns to running back Carlos Hyde.

Minnesota hosts the Lions (0-1) at TCF Bank Stadium Sunday afternoon. Pregame coverage on AM 1240 WJON begins at 11 a.m. with kickoff scheduled for noon.
