The Twins behind the pitching of Jake Odorizzi defeated the Houston Astros 1-0 Monday night to open a 4-game series.  Odorizzi threw 7 shutout innings to get the win.  Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan said Odorizzi worked with pitching coach Wes Johnson a lot in spring training that made a difference.

The Vikings will need to clear up salary cap space and could trade cornerbacks Xavier Rhodes or Trey Waynes or tight end Kyle Rudolph.  Souhan suggested another solution.

NBA officials have been taking a lot of heat during the playoffs.  Jim weighs in.
