Souhan; Non Division I College Sports Can Financially Struggle [PODCAST]

St. Cloud State and MN-Crookston announced Tuesday that both are cutting football and SCSU is also cutting men's and women's golf.  Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today.  He could see a scenario where schools would have to decide between a Division I model or a Division III non-scholarship model.  Listen to the conversation below.

The Yankees signed Garrit Cole to a 9-year $324 Million contract Tuesday.  Jim Souhan thinks the Twins are interested in free agent starting pitchers Madison Bumgarner, Hyun-Jin Ryu, and Dallas Keuchel.  Jim thinks Bumgarner could be the next to choose a team.

The Wild lost in an overtime shootout Tuesday night to Anaheim.  Jim says the first period were terrible for the Wild but they played much better after that.
