Shiancoe Suffers Setback With Hamstring

Viking tight end Visanthe Shiancoe suffered a setback in practice Wednesday tweaking his hamstring injury.  Shiancoe will now likely miss his 3rd straight preseason game this Saturday.  Running back Toby Gerhart missed practice again Wednesday with a sore ankle and Achilles.  An MRI revealed no damage to those areas on Gerhart.  Linebacker Jasper Brinkley missed practice Wednesday too with a hip flexor injury and coach Leslie Frazier says dates back to last season.

The Vikings host Dallas Saturday night at 7pm in their 3rd of 4 preseason games, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6pm.  Right guard Anthony Herrera is expected to make his preseason debut Saturday night.  He is coming off major knee surgery.
