ACM Award Winner Performing Before Sunday’s Vikings Game

An ACM award winner will take to the stage before the Minnesota Vikings home opener Sunday. The free concert starts at at 1pm, with the Vikings taking on the Packers at 3:25. So if you are going to the game, or are just a fan of Country music, you'll want to get there early to enjoy the show.

Last Year Russell Dickerson Performed Before The Home Opener

Just like last year's home opener, where fans who got to U.S. Bank Stadium early saw Russell Dickerson perform before the Vikings took on the Atlanta Falcons, this season will see another Country artist performing for fans for FREE.

This year, Cole Swindell will be performing before the game.

Multi-platinum country singer-songwriter Cole Swindell will open the festivities with a live performance at The Commons outside U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 13 before the Vikings kickoff against the Green Bay Packers to open the 2026 season.

So what do you need to know, in case you are interested in the pregame concert?

Where is the concert taking place?

According to the Minnesota Vikings website, the concert will take place in the Commons area, which isn't too far from the large doors at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Before Cole takes the stage at 1, there will be a local band performing to warm up the purple and gold faithful.

Gates will open at 10:30am, with local band The Pork Tornadoes starting at 11:30 a.m. before Swindell takes the stage at 1pm.
