Gopher Women Beat Michigan State

The Gopher women's basketball team defeated Michigan State 71-65 Thursday night to improve to 3-3 in the Big Ten and 11-9 overall.  Kiara Buford led the Gophers with 22 points and Rachel Banham had 16 points and 7 rebounds. Minnesota shot 48 percent while Michigan State shot 41 percent.

The Gophers will play at Nebraska at 5pm Sunday.
