The Minnesota Wild took down first-place Vegas, the SCSU baseball team lost a third straight game and there was a full night of high school sports in Central Minnesota. Here's a recap of the action from Monday.

This weekend, St. Cloud State men's hockey wrapped up the regular season, SCSU women's basketball learned whether it made the NCAA Tournament, the Twins exhibition schedule continued and the Wild split a pair of games in the desert.

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced that it will move forward with plans to play a full spring sports schedule in 2021. The conference also provided an update on the 2020 fall sports which were postponed until this spring.

Former Rocori Spartan and current Augustana Viking Jordan Barth is set to return to the Rox for a third season in 2021. Barth was named the Rox MVP in 2019 after setting team records in games played, doubles and total bases.

The St. Cloud State University men's and women's basketball teams both came out ahead in their respective matchups against the University of Minnesota-Crookston on Friday.

Former St. Cloud State University pitcher Nick Anderson earned the win in the Tampa Bay Rays' game two World Series win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Rays won 6-4 to even the series at a game apiece.

St. Cloud State baseball coach Pat Dolan, along with the Starz of Tomorrow Baseball Academy, has formed a baseball league featuring 16 Central Minnesota teams playing doubleheaders on Friday nights.
