Blazers MIAC Champions, Secure Berth Into NCAA Tournament

COLLEGEVILLE - The Saint Benedict Blazers are MIAC Tournament champions after a 3-2 victory over Macalester yesterday.

CSB had goals from Val Clintsman, Taylor Hedin, and Peggy Renier to secure the win. Heather Kaluzniak finished with 12 saves in front of the net for the Blazers.

With the victory, the Blazers secured an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament next week. They'll find out who they play Monday at 12:30 p.m. when the NCAA announces the field.
