Wild Score Early and Beat Lightning

The Wild downed Tampa Bay 4-1 Sunday afternoon.

Cal Clutterbuck, John Madden, Antti Miettinen and Eric Nystrom each scored a goal for the Wild.  Martin Havlat had 3 assists for the Wild.  Minnesota scored 3 first period goals.

The Wild were outshot 38-18 and Niklas Backstrom had 37 saves.

Minnesota is 8-6-2 and will host Anaheim at 7pm Wednesday night, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
