Who's a good boy? The Minnesota Wild announced on social media this afternoon their newest team dog! The newest addition to the team is the 6th team dog in franchise history. Here's what we know about the pup!

Paws up for Dino!
Everyone, please give a warm welcome to our newest furry friend!
(PS He's a certified good boy)

Dino comes from Coco's Heart Dog Rescue, and he will be having a career with Soldier's 6 when this season is over. Soldier's 6, according to their website, is a "non-profit organization based in Minnesota. We provide honorably discharged veterans, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, correctional officers, and 911 dispatchers with specially trained K-9's. These special dogs will become their Battle Buddy and help guide them through the difficult days in life. We chose the name Soldier's 6 because that is what a service dog has, its Battle Buddy's 6 (or back)."

Dino is the 6th team dog that the Minnesota Wild has 'adopted' for the season. Previous team dogs were:

Breezer, a Labrador Retriever, was the first team dog adopted during the 2019-20 season, Hobey, a Golden Retriever, was adopted for the 2020-21 season; Celly, a Shepherd/Catahoula/Labrador mix, was adopted for the 2021-22 season; Brooksy, a Labrador Retriever mix, was adopted for the 2022-23 season; Hatty, a Golden Retriever mix rescue dog, was adopted for the 2023-2024 season.

Each adopted official team dog, is given to a local hero to have a 'hero of their own'.

A very special welcome to Dino, and keep an eye out for him if you are going to any games this season at the Xcel Energy Center.
