Puck Love: Minnesota is Getting a New Hockey Team
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) is moving a team to Minnesota.
The now-former Oregon Tradesmen franchise has been re-branded as the Minnesota Moose and will call Fogerty Arena in Blaine its home.
Minnesota Moose Will Debut in Blaine This Fall
The 2023-2024 season kicked off in September. The 2024-2025 schedule has not yet been released.
Wheel, Snipe, Celly, boys!
Former North Iowa Bulls Head Coach/General Manager Todd Sanden will coach the Moose. Sanden won four Fraser Cup Championships at North Iowa. 'Chips, boys!
From the NA3HL website: "The NA3HL is the only USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior league and serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification. The NA3HL will be entering its 15th season of operation during the 2024-25 season. It is the only USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III junior hockey league."
