The Twins beat the Oakland Athletics 11-4 Tuesday night at Target Field. The game began at 9:50 p.m. due to a torrential downpour that lasted a couple of hours in Minneapolis.

Tommy Milone, pitching to keep his spot in the rotation, had a nice game on the hill for the Twins. The lefty lasted six innings and did not allow an earned run on five hits and a walk while striking out two Athletics.

Kennys Vargas, Max Kepler and Miguel Sano all hit home runs for the Twins in the win.

Minnesota plays host to Oakland Wednesday afternoon at Target Field. First pitch is slated for 12:30 p.m. on AM 1240 WJON.
