The Twins fell 5-4 to the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday night at Tropicana Field, snapping a six-game winning streak. The loss drops Minnesota out of the second wild card spot in the American League.

The game was tied at four until the bottom of the sixth inning when Twins catcher Kurt Suzuki allowed a passed ball that scored the winning run.

Suzuki, Miguel Sano and Shane Robinson all had runs batted in for Minnesota in the loss, and Eduardo Escobar hit his third home run in his past two games .

Tommy Milone picked up the loss for the Twins, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits and one walk in 5.1 innings pitched.

Minnesota returns home to Target Field for a three game series with the Houston Astros beginning Friday night. First pitch on WJON is scheduled for 7:10 PM.
