MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins are reportedly set to call up another top prospect to the Major Leagues.

Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports that the Twins will call up power-hitting prospect Miguel Sano after sending down Kennys Vargas following Wednesday's 2-1 loss in Cincinnati.

Sano has been highly regarded since signing with the Twins as a 16-year-old in September of 2009 and was ranked as the #2 prospect in Minnesota's farm system before the season.

The 6-foot-4 third baseman is considered to be one of the top power hitting prospects in any minor league system, hitting 105 home runs in 445 career minor league games.

Sano, 22, was batting .274 with 15 home runs for AA Chattanooga after missing the entire 2014 season recovering from Tommy John Surgery.
