The Minnesota Twins continued their second-half struggles with a 1-0 loss to the Tigers in Detroit Monday. The Twins are 1-3 since the All Star game.

Justin Upton's solo home run to the left field corner in the second inning was the only run of the game. Twins starter Ricky Nolasco lasted six innings and allowed one run on three hits with three walks and no strikeouts.

The Twins offense managed just three hits in the game.

Minnesota plays at Detroit again Tuesday night, with first pitch scheduled for 6:10 p.m. on AM 1240 WJON.
