The Twins fell 3-1 to the Kansas City Royals Monday night at Target Field. Minnesota has lost three of their last four games and are now tied with the Royals for first place in the American League Central.

Kendrys Morales hit a two-run home run in the top of the second inning to give the Royals a 2-0 lead. Eddie Rosario's solo home run for the Twins in the bottom of the seventh inning made the score 2-1, but that is as close as Minnesota would get to tying the game.

The Twins and Royals play again on Tuesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 on AM 1240 WJON.
