Twins Activate Capps; Set Starting Rotation

The Twins activated closer Matt Capps from the 15-day disabled list Thursday and optioned relief pitcher Kyle  Waldrop to triple-A Rochester.  Capps has been rehabbing shoulder inflamation at single-A Fort Myers and triple-A Rochester.

The Twins have also set the starting rotation for post All-Star break.  Francisco Liriano will start tonight against Oakland followed by Cole DeVries Saturday against the A's and Brian Duensing Sunday.  Scott Diamond will start Monday's game against Baltimore and Sam Deduno will start against Baltimore Tuesday.

Tonight's game against Oakland starts at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.
