SCSU Basketball Adds One

The St. Cloud State men's basketball program has announced the signing of 6'4 200 pound wing Eddie Alcantara.  Alcantara is from New York and but played at Blinn Community College in Texas.  Alcantara averged 7.7 points and 5.2 rebounds a game at Blinn last season.  SCSU Head Coach Matt Reimer says Alcantara will provide an immediate impact on the perimeter.

Reimer is entering his first year as head coach after taking over for the retired Kevin Schlagel.  SCSU was 20-8 in 2013-2014.
