The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Minnesota Twins 2-1 Tuesday night at Tropicana Field. The Twins have now lost four of their past five games.

Bartolo Colon took the loss despite allowing only two runs on five hits in 6.2 innings pitched. Robbie Grossman's solo home run in the top of the ninth accounted for the Twins' only run.

With the loss, Minnesota falls to a half-game behind the Los Angeles Angels in the American League wild card race.

The Twins will wrap up their series with the Rays Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 12:10 on AM 1240 WJON.
