Rays Beat Liriano, Twins 8-2
The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Twins 8-2 Wednesday night in the snow and cold weather to end a 3-game win streak for Minnesota. Tampa Bay scored 4 runs in the first inning and added 3 more in the 4th. Francisco Liriano threw 3 innings with 6 hits and 7 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 1-4. Liriano's ERA swells to 9.13. Luke Hughes went 3-4 with a run scored for the Twins and Jason Kubel was 2-4 with 1 RBI. The Twins are 9-13 and will host Tampa Bay in a day/night doubleheader today.
