Free agent swingman Nicolas Batum has said that next season he will either rejoin the Portland Trail Blazers, or come to Minnesota and join the Timberwolves.

T'Wolves fans should collectively pray for the latter.

Batum would immediately give the T'Wolves two things that they very desperately need - a great 3 point shooter, and a great defender.

The T'Wolves added Chase Budinger last week - he is a good outside shooter, and gives the T'Wolves more size, as well.  The addition of Batum would give the T'Wolves some much needed depth, and another scorer.

Batum would also immediately become the T'Wolves best defender.  He is used to drawing the toughest defensive match-up, and spent most of last season guarding the likes of; Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and Dirk Nowitzki.

The T'Wolves are headed in the right direction - and acquiring Nicolas Batum would be another big piece of the puzzle.
