New Restaurant Being Planned For Sartell – Opening In August

A new restaurant is coming to the St. Cloud area, with plans to open in August. Local area businesses are just as excited about the prospect of a new dining option as potential customers. Here's what we know about the new restaurant, Mr. D's, that is set to open in Sartell this August.

A new dining option for Central Minnesotans

Last week, Mr. D's announced on social media that it would be coming to the City of Sartell.

The new restaurant will boast a little bit of everything to satisfy just about anyone who stops in. The menu will include burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other options for those who stop by when they open their doors in August.

When will it open, and where can you find Mr. D's?

The restaurant's social media page has just listed the month of August as the target opening month, and the new spot to eat will be located next to Westside Liquor on 2nd Street South.

The restaurant will be located at 1001 2nd St S in Suite 1005, and will be open, according to the restaurant's website, Sunday - Wednesday 11am to 10pm, and Thursdays through Saturdays 11am to 1am.

The family behind Mr. D's

According to Mr. D's website, the Dumpprope family, Kenny and Amber, will be running the new restaurant. The website describes the soon-to-open eatery as:

"A family dream: to create a laid-back, family-friendly spot where neighbors could gather, laugh, eat well, and have a great time. With arcade games for the kids (and kids at heart), casual seating, and a welcoming atmosphere, we’ve become more than just a restaurant — we’re a place to connect."

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to try what they will be cooking, once they open their doors in August.
