Les Schwab Tire is one of two new businesses set to open up in Sartell in the next few months, here's what you need to know about the Oregon-based tire business.

Sartell's River Crossing development is getting close to full with 2 to 3 commercial locations still available. Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum indicates Les Schwab Tires and Valvoline Oil Change are close to opening. He says the walls are up and appear on track to open soon.

Sartell's River Crossing will be close to full after 2 new businesses join the development this fall. Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum indicates Valvoline Instant Oil Change and Les Schwab Tire Company will be breaking ground this fall.

Sartell's annual city celebration "Sartell Summerfest" will take place June 7-8. Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON. He says the 2-day event will feature Libertyville at Sartell City Hall from 4-8 p.m. on Friday June 7.

The former Sartell paper mill site known as the city's Mill District's timeline has been pushed back a bit. That according to Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum. He says the city continues to work with their consultants, interest groups, stakeholders and the community.

"For the past few months several of our staff members have been meeting and refining several different design ideas."

Sartell has been awarded a grant from Benton County for Mill District Improvements
