If you are a fan of the Renaissance Festival and are bummed that you have to wait a whole year before the next one, there are some other things you can enjoy.  There is a feast going on this month, and also some great news for the continuation of the festival on the grounds where it currently stands.

IF YOU LOVE THE REN FEST - YOU'LL LOVE HOW IT CONTINUES INTO OCTOBER

First, if you love continuing the tradition of the Ren Fest - it's the Phantom's Feast!  This runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from October 16th, next weekend, through November 1st.  And there are some additional days too.  October 22, 28 and 29.

This is a Halloween themed adventure.  It's held at the Bad Manor building on the Ren Fest grounds.

An evening dinner show and ghost stories hosted by Jim Cunningham, followed by a guided ghost hunt.  Multi-course dinner, beverages during the meal (beer, wine, soda, water), live entertainment, a ghost hunt, and a collectible Phantom's mug.

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE NOW FOR THE PHANTOM'S FEAST & SHOW

Tickets run $100 per person, and you must be at least 17 to enter.  You can order your tickets now through their website.

THE FUTURE OF THE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL IS VERY POSITIVE

There is some great news too as far as the future of the Renaissance Festival on the space where they are currently in Shakopee.

So it looks like fans of the Ren Fest will be able to enjoy the festival for decades to come.  Now, if they could just fix that parking issue - it's a little confusing, but once you do figure it out, it does work.  Would just be great if everyone could park on the grounds like we used to.  But I do understand the frustration if you live in the area.  Getting in and out of your own home and dealing with that traffic every weekend would be a bit much.  It's still a bit confusing, however.
