Amateur Baseball Results; Muskies Down Clear Lake

The Sartell Muskies downed Clear Lake 11-0 in 7 innings Sunday to capture the Region 1C championship.  Brian Schellinger went 2-4 with 2 RBIs for Sartell.  Clear Lake defeated Mora 7-6 in 10 innings earlier in the day.  Brett Stinogel had a solo homerun in the 10th inning to lift Clear Lake.

Sartell gets a first round bye and will play their first game in the Class C state tournament on August 26.  The Class C State Tournament will be held in St. Cloud starting this Friday at Dick Putz and Joe Faber Fields.
