Wolves Beat Wolters And Milwaukee Thursday

South Dakota State alum Nate Wolters started in front of his collegiate-hometown crowd to a rousing ovation, but the Bucks came up short in a 98-89 Timberwolves victory.

Wolters started the game to the delight of the 3,250 fans on hand. He had a strong game, scoring ten points on 3-5 shooting while dishing out two assists without a turnover.

The Wolves dedicated a majority of minutes to young players, with Shabazz Muhammad scoring 11 points on 3-6 shooting, including 5-6 from the free throw line. Gorgui Deng had a strong game defensively with nine rebounds and four blocks.

Minnesota hosts the Raptors Saturday night at Target Center.
