Weather Could Help The Twins This Weekend

The Twins are set to host the Toronto Blue Jays Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.  Rain is in the forecast Friday night and all day Saturday.  This could cause 1 or more games being postponed.  The Twins could benefit because they are playing with a limited roster right now.  To play these games later in the season when players like Joe Mauer, Jim Thome, Tsuyoshi Nishioka and Delmon Young are back.  Delmon could be back this weekend but Mauer, Thome and Nishioka are definetly out.  The Twins are reeling after losing 5 games in a row and have 11 games back of Cleveland for first place in the AL Central.  Now is the time for opponents to play the Twins because this is not the best team the Twins can put out there.
