The Vikings welcomed the return of defensive tackle Kevin Williams Monday after he served a 2-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy.  He tested positive for banned substance in 2008 and fought the suspension in the courts ever since.  Williams will play the next 2 game without pay as part of his punishment.

Williams has been suffering through plantar fasciitis in his foot but is expected to play this Sunday when the 0-2 Vikings host the 2-0 Detroit Lions.  Gametime at noon Sunday, pregame on WJON at 11am.
